Welcome to the Freshworks Chennai Marathon 2027.
It is both an honour and a privilege to serve as the Race Director for one of India's most iconic distance running events. Fortwo decades, Chennai Runners has inspired thousands of people to embrace running as a way of life, and the Freshworks Chennai Marathon stands as the flagship celebration of that journey.
Every marathon tells a story—not only of the runners who cross the finish line, but also of the volunteers, partners, civic authorities, sponsors, medical teams, and countless individuals who work together to make race day possible. The Freshworks Chennai Marathon is built on this collective spirit and remains, above all else, a marathon by runners, for runners.
As we celebrate the 15th edition of the Freshworks Chennai Marathon, our vision is clear: to deliver a world-class marathon experience while preserving the warmth, inclusiveness, and community spirit that define Chennai.
Our commitment is to continuously elevate every aspect of the event—from registration and communication to course operations, medical support, volunteer engagement, environmental responsibility, and the overall runner experience. We will continue to put in the best practices that make every edition better than the last.
Whether you are taking on your very first 10K, chasing a new personal best in the Half Marathon, preparing for the 32K, or embracing the challenge of the Full Marathon, you deserve an event that is professionally organised, safe, inclusive, and memorable.
